it depends on what car, and which 3s-gte... just look up 0-60 times on an mr2 turbo.
edit: or a 90-93 alltrac, Or times on a gt4 wouldnt be hard to find either. This post has been edited by Chrobis: Oct 23, 2003 - 2:14 AM |

The SW20 MR2 uses a second generation 3S-GTE here in the US. As the generation of 3S-GTE increases, the horsepower and amount of technology increases as well. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

When qatar11 had a JDM 3SGTE in his 1995 Celica ST his 0-60 was 6.50 secs with a few mods.

and not enough traction you cant compair the times to an alltrac or gt4 because they launch with a lot more power and have all the traction they need. -------------------- 1994 Celica GT4 WRC Edition

And they're also driving 4 wheels, your better off looking at times for the MR2 Turbo.

I read that the MR2 Turbo can do 0-60 in 6.0 sec...yeah, traction could be a problem in the celica...
Apart from converting to 4wd, is there any other option to increase traction 0-60 was 6.50 secs in a celica is great i guess, has anybody else managed to push it to close to 66 sec. This post has been edited by kingpreetham: Oct 24, 2003 - 10:09 AM |

WTF are you talking about?? 0 to 60 in 60?? 66? As for traction... LSD and tires will help... and most importantly, don't try to push TOO MUCH power in a FWD setup unless you setup your car such that it can counter torque steer.... This post has been edited by kuya1284: Oct 24, 2003 - 2:18 AM |

your zero to sixty would be like 3 seconds or less |

A tracked 1/4 mile time doesn't factor in the reaction time... at least they don't at the Sac raceway. It measures the driver's response...but not necessarily the actual time. The actual time starts when you get off the line... Anyways, if you can finish the 1/4 mile with that trap speed, expect to hit high 13's with better traction... |
