hi guys. i went to a shop to get a quote for installing my 404 side skirts but they have to be cut into cause their an inch short.they quoted me $500 bucks. i think that is a little too expensive,i just wanted to know the average price so if i should just looking better around. thanks. smile.gif

Where did you buy the skirts from? I would take them back if possible and buy some from a better company. That's why ebay is bad. Most of the kits will have horrible fitment and any money you saved on the kit you spend on getting it fitted.

As for the price I can't be of much help there. OEM FTW smile.gif

well i got them from andysautosport.com. i order the andys auto sport brand i recived the vfibers brand (which suck). cause im pretty sure im gonna have to pay out of my own pocket to ship when they sent me the wrong ones

I got mine from BC Auto&Design and they were a real tight fit as well, they seemed too short at first about an inch but if you dont fit them on yet and just line them up, its actually a very very tight but perfect fit somewhat. its jus that the sides that "clip" onto the fender walls point inward to give that "clip-on" effect so that the skirt stays tight and reinforced. I had to flex it and somewhat mod some corners and edges with sandpaper and a friend of mine said he used a heatgun, but instead I just used a special staple and drilled a hole in my door sill and put the staple through. I'll take a picture for you as soon as I can.

yea i wanted to stretch them but i didn't want to crack them.i was thinking they can use a heat gun of im not sure if it weakens them really bad.pics would be great if you can biggrin.gif

I have purchased 2 kits from 2 different company's and on was from boosted6g and everyone says his kits fit perfect but both have horrible fitment..I am gonna try to ask around locally or im gonna get trd sides..Ill let you no what shops say by me with in a few days.
