yes because turning your lights off while driving at night is that much better?!

Leave your lights on (btw its illegal to turn them off) and slow down..cause being able to be seen by other drivers and seeing where you are going = win

But deer are lil punks...one ran across the race track last weekend during a bike race.....deer = 0 bike = almost a win

Glad to hear it didn't end up bad.... Drivers Ed doesn't prepare you for situations like this, so, yes I'd definately take a driving course. Also, learn to SLOW DOWN on an offramp

I heard the best thing to do is to turn your lights off and slow down if there actually are deer out at night on the road. the light blinds them and they cant tell if something is coming at them

f**k that lol don't turn ur lights off!!!! you wont see the other deer lol....usualy i flick mine and lay on the horn as im slowing down its helped me avoid moose and deer and other lil criters......i live in new brunswick....u see deer as often as you see a stop sign lol....as for you two starting up...no he shouldnt have passed the car he shoulda just waited an extra 3 seconds then hit the ramp.....and yea he didn't mean too but he posted it was an accident and next time would be more cautious...like said before your not the only one on the road and you need to keep that in mind...and i dont care who you are if you enjoy driving you have slipped up once or twice and learned your lesson...every one has....when i feel the need to play a lil and push my car i find a safe spot where i know there is no traffic...usualy in the country with some twisties!

lol true. Like i said its just what i heard. i live near downtown denver so anytime i see a deer is when its on some someones lawn as artwork or whatever they call it (lawn decor? ) And i got an ST, I never really get too compelled to push it. i actually try to take off real smooth and rarely speed in a pathetic attempt to act like im holding back the imaginary 1000whp.

Everyone has their bad judgements...
generally their more common around winter when events are extremely scarce and a quick speed fix is needed.

I actually had a similar experience a couple times. No drift, but major counter steering to stay straight. Blizzaks and the Lexus don't get along. Since they're speed rated @ 94, anytime i'm near that, the car feels like it's on ice and the tires are made of jelly and any acceleration/deceleration is scary...i can't wait to graduate...again (MBA). Point is, I've been there, so no hate coming from here.
