had the xsi, broke it, picked up the 30d, was just a temporary. the xsi is so much lighter and more practical for what i need it for right now. when i go to step forward, i'll either get a 60D (cuz it'll be out by then biggrin.gif) or a used 5D.

oh, btw, got my xsi back from repairs and sold all that gear to Lil-Joe101.

Oh ok, Yeah now I remember you saying something like that. The 5D is a lot heavier than the XTI, but I'm getting used to it pretty quickly.

I checked out the xti when I bought my 40d it just felt small and awkward to me.
This one could have been a nice shot if I would have had my shutter speed faster. kindasad.gif

Still looks pretty cool. It's also cool that you have bald eagles around you.

Thanks smile.gif The high res has a lot of motion blur. This is the first bald eagle, I have seen in about 5 years
they are around, just kinda hard to find. I hacked it up in lightroom oversharpened the crap out of it, I like it
a little better even though it looks more like a painting than a photo now.

A sitting shot with a branch in the way. lol

Too much vignetting for me...

I liked the perched one though, just need to tone down the gradient, imo.

I sold the XTI - I would have gotten a lot more if it weren't for the XS being so cheap. I want a circular polarizer, but I want to use it on the 17-44 and thats 77mm, so that's about $215 for a good one.

Or I can get a flash. 430ex or 550 maybe, they'll be around 150-200 tho too.

I sold my XT + Grip 18-55. 35-80. 4 batts, 2 chargers, and a few more stuff for 360. They are dropping in prices like crazy also..
go get the 580EXII. I used a 430EX for a wedding I shot in a museum....needed more light!

on a side note, im planning on getting a pair of Alienbees, prolly the 800s and start doing some studio type photography.

my avatar says it all, Marines. Go for Kadena Air Base (here on Okinawa), it's nice. Yokota ("mainland japan") is really nice too.

I like the first one, second one would please my eye more if the focus was more towards the center.
