Hay Great work.

When I saw you last you were only working on the Cabeling.

Great work mate in getting the Battery in the boot as well as the cold air box

As for the cold air what a bout a grill in the bonnet... if you rotate the cold air box 90 to the right (From the Front) you could do a bonnet scoop???

Hay I got it, A GT4 Bonnet and get the cold air from the front or top scoop... biggrin.gif

Hay if you want help mounting the Amp and Sub let me know and I'll come over and give you a hand.

One prob with a GT4 bonnet is that unlike the 5th gen which scoops air into the engine bay, the 6th gen gt-four bonnet vacuumes air out of the engine bay, this would suck all the air out of my intake instead of ram it in

Having a RAM air intake mounted at the front is a very good idea.
What you can do is get a smaller alu radiator.
I thing the owner of the green induction in the head light would need to clean the flys off every day.

The Inlet to my cold air box is in a perfect position to mount a funnel there, this is the plan to be able to easily swap the highbeam for the funnel when at Meremere (drag racing venue.)

I tried taking off my fender to get access to the location of the stock air box but ran into difficulty when i removed every single bolt i could see and it still didnt come loose and wasnt sure whether my wheel or my door needed to come off.

you just need to take the inside mudguard off and theres 3* bolts on the stock airbox and one really hard one, you sort of have to go through the indicators to get at it, then its a bit of twisting it around to get it out.

2" -> 2.5" from the last flange before the rear axel... Just a cheap one, weighs close to nothing held in your palm. It's quiet but noticible... smile.gif

Good news, Bad news, Possibly good news!!!!!!!!!!

1. I finished piping up my cold air intake this morning.

2. My neighbor seriously rear ended my car in my driveway (don't ask how), my car is possibly a write off.

OMG, that really sucks man. I feel really bad for you. Good luck finding a nice GT4, saw a WRC version on trademe recently up your way!

I think I'd have to move house if my neighbour did that, would find it difficult not to hurt them.

****KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it's sinking in now, i don't know what to say or what to do. i want to hit something but there's already been enough destruction for one day.

she was there... I had spent so many hours & dollars on her... she was ready for the drag strip for a timeslip, I had milked that 3rd gen 3s-ge for every last drop of power.

I had only just finished it this morning by drilling a 20mm hole next to the cold air box inlet to place the air temperature sensor and rubber grommet, I had to extend the wires on the temperature sensor to reach the front of the engine bay and the finishing touch was buying a 90 degree bend silicone joiner to link the CAB inlet to the pipework i put through the stock location (behind the fusebox) leading to the RAM air scoop i placed just behind the left side fog light.

Anyhow what happened was my car had it's ass hanging out of my garage as i was working on it.. and my neighbor was reversing up the hill and his reverse gear failed and his gearbox went into drive and he literally floored it down the hill wiping off my car's ass and sending it into the garage wall to the right and he went into the side of the next garage and destroyed the front of his car... Oh yeah, as i was standing infront of my car as it happened it sent me flying but I'm not sore or anything

all those days i worked on my sounds, my intake, battery relocation, interior lighting, acis/tvis controller

all that money

I'm still shocked.......

Yeah, 2nd Celica now... I will have a 3rd but I'm scared I could possibly end up with a lower model if insurance screws me over...

i'm not a panelbeater but whats the liklyhood of a repair??
I reckon it could be repaired (this happen at my work, a car was in a parallel park on the road, right at the front [parked with handbrake on, legally parked etc], crane came along and really smacked into the rear right of it and moved it right out of the park [about 4metres forward]... that car is now fixed)

best of luck, and take it easy for now thumbsup.gif

if it is a right off are you doing anything with the rims i have been looking for another set of these for a while now i know this sounds really bad for asking this just after you have had your car taken from you.

goodluck with your plans ahead

oh and i have a complete rear hatch if you need one with spoiler the same as yours just in red
