Buy a K&N filter recharger kit, it comes with the detergent and oil.

someone had told me that injen cotton and k&n filter is different material, using the k&n cleaning kit will destroy the cotton on the injen intake?

thats why you get dry filters like AEM and Fujita, I switched out my INJEN filter. But I am still using the INJEN Piping.

Would it be bad to clean it with brake cleaner + air from compressor?

problems that happen with oiled filters is when it gets into the system. thats what started dry filters.
