yea your right, sorry you had me confused, they only turn on if my headlights are on

Sorry about confusing you. Well then, you would have to get the wiring diagram for your alarm, and then find the wire for your lights. There's usually a wire that runs from the alarm brain to your lighting, telling it to blink when you arm/disarm. It's about the same with my aftermarket alarm except that I had a fuse run on mine. The reason they put a fuse is so that the thieves can't short out my alarm by sticking a screwdriver in the bulb socket like you saw Angelina Jolie do in "Gone in Sixty Seconds." Anyways, (didn't mean to sidetrack there) if you find the wire in your alarm that controls your lighting, then disconnect it and you should be good. The only thing is that none of your lights, I.E. - Tail Lights, Blinkers/Parking lights, Side Markers, won't blink AT ALL when you arm/disarm. Again, this is me TRYING to be an "alarm-trician." But, I am pretty sure that would be the easiest fix as to how to get your HID's to stop blinking.

Wow I didn't even know you could change that. BUT, we are trying to get his fogs, which he converted to HID's, to stop blinking when he arms/disarms his car. Not his blinkers to stop blinking. Because if HID's continue to blink, it could be harmful for the ballasts and bulbs. Read the beginning posts and you shall see what I am talking about.

I understand that it would work, but we are trying to STOP his lights from blinking.

laugh.gif my bad, but it still isn't a bad idea to make sure you have blinker fluid. You need to change it every so often wink.gif

Cool, thanks. I'll look into that; I have always wondered what I could do to reduce the loud blinking noise. Thanks again.
