Hello,
I am new to Celicas and recently signed up here at 6gc. I've picked up a 94 GT-S Canadian model. The car is in great shape except for the rusty rear brake lines. Has anyone done theirs and could chime in with some tips about the repair. I am planning on working on a driveway. I will lift the car as high as I can but I have no access to a hoist. Thanks. ![]() This post has been edited by dubb_head: Sep 1, 2009 - 11:09 AM |

make sure you are using correctly sized box wrenches as the fittings can strip easy.
If they do strip you a set of vice-grips, they work wonders ![]() start at the wheels and work your way in ![]() |

make sure you're not letting it sit on the jack
always use jack stands |

Hey all, Thanks for the replies, I am just going right now to get my new rear brake lines from the dealer. $169 CDN taxes in..... I will start on them soon and let you guys know how it went. Right now, my concern is getting to the p-valve on the firewall in the engine bay. Looks to be a very tight spot. |
