wheel spacers Options

what are good brands?
are they good for my car or bad?
how big should they be to get the wheels flush with the fenders from stock?
and any other info you could help me with

i have 15mm in the back

I have 20mm H&R in the rear. Been running them for a while now with no problems.
Just bust out a tape measure to see what size you need.

uhh ya i dont really understand wheel offset even though i already read the thread about wheel offset guide.

i have 16" motegi ff7 with 42+ offset. It has a pretty flush look to the car.

Offset is simple, really.

You have +42 wheels. The front looks fine, but the back is tucked into the fender a bit. If you were to install a 10mm spacer you would be subtracting the spacer size from the wheel offset, so your +42 wheels with a 10mm spacer would now be +32.

To further elaborate- offset is the measurement of the distance from the hub mounting surface to the center of the wheel. A 0 offset wheel means that the mounting surface (where the lug holes are) is in the centerline of the wheel. A negative offset means that the mounting surface sits behind the centerline (think deep dish wheels), and a positive offset (like what basically all FWD cars have) means the mounting surface is in front of the centerline. The offset number is that distance. So a +42 wheel means that the mounting surface is 42mm in front of the centerline. Adding a spacer will take away from that distance by moving the mounting surface towards the center of the wheel - thus lowering your offset.

ok well how about in beefyT case. He has 57 gram light wheels. He said they are 16 X 7 with +42 offset with 195 50 R16 tires. I saw his car the other day and his rims look really tucked in why is that?? Does the width of the tire have anything to do with how the rims look. What is the offset for the 15" celica gt rims, are the +38 offset. Is +42 offset fine for our celicas?? What happens if you get +45 vs +35 offset rims, does this affect driveability/steering??

+42, while not far from +35, is still a pretty large jump in terms of offset. They will be sucked into the fenders a bit. I had 17x7 Rays G-Games on my first Celica that were +42 and it fits fine and won't negatively affect drivability or steering, it is just further in than other wheels. Width of the wheel does matter to a certain degree, because there will be more wheel on both sides of the centerline (7" wheel has 3.5" on either side, a 10" wheel will have 5" on either side) but you probably don't want to go bigger than a 7" wheel at +42 or else you'll be getting a little closer than you want to the strut body. Width of the tire will make the wheel look more flush than it is, but only to a certain point. Remember that you only have a handful of mm's between your rim and the strut body, and the larger tire you have the closer you are coming to rubbing the strut. In beefyT's situation he could probably bump his tire width to 215 and be okay, but I wouldn't go much bigger.

Celica GT wheels are +39 IIRC.

And the difference between +35 and +45 (assuming wheel sizes are the same) is that you have almost a half inch less clearance between the rim and the strut and sunk in almost a half inch more.

Well then what I would do in your case is throw a 10mm spacer on, because +42 is the highest I would feel comfortable running. With a 10mm spacer you'll be out to +36, which is as close to ideal as you're going to get.

Offset is greatly effected by your wheel width. Without knowing how wide your wheel is offset means absolutely nothing.

Do you run the spacer while doing Auto-X?

I've thought about spacers in the past, but always steered clear because I need to have it be solid through turns, and don't want to worry about a wheel coming off/studs breaking under stress.
