Hi everyone! My name is Erynn I am new to this site but not new to celicas, my love affair started in 1999 when i got my '94 st in black. I loved that car to death and it was so dependable and sexy and I drove it for 8 years until I had an accident at 180k, the damages were pretty $$ but it wasn't totaled so I sold it to my nephew(HUGE MISTAKE) for cheap and he ran it into a house a week later, yea so that was pretty sad and it was totaled. I then got a 2000 celica GT (don't shoot me, got it for cheap) and have had it for 3 years, its a great car but somehow I never ever got over my 6th gen. FINALLY a month ago I got a '95 ST with 91K laugh.gif one owner, amazing mileage. So yea, I am the proud owner of two ceilcas I can not part with either of them. They are so different but for sure the 6th gen has my heart. I plan to completely change/customize it (no rice-izing), just classy simple, clean and sexy is the plan I'd love to eventually do a gt FOUR swap long down the road after I get a ton of mileage out of this engine, heck 91k is nothing for a 15 year old car. Luckily, I have two cars so it's ok for the 95' to be worked on for long amounts of time. Funny thing is I can't stop driving it since I got it. It needs body work and paint but mechanically, its good. Anyhow, Looking forward to the meet, and importantly meeting others that are obsessed with celicas as I am.
heres a quick view of my babies.

DD is short for daily driver. And welcome to the site! Glad to hear you aren't going to "rice-icize" the car out. You're in the right place for Celicas!

Hello! thanks! smile.gif yes it is reniassance red, don't be fooled by the pictures its TERRIBLY oxidized and shot to heck, so I will be re painting it what color, I don know yet, I am really not a fan of the red at all... i might do a midnight blue that looks black or straight up black, honestly I might do a poll because I do not know what to do in regards to the color. I thought it might be dis respectful for my '94 that is RIP to do it black, because it was black, (yes i worry about my deceased car's feelings still), For the "get up and go" well that's a tough one, 1st of all my 2000 GT is auto, but it is very quick (not a dog i promise, or I wouldn't of bought it) , the engine has more horsepower than the '95and you can can feel the difference, BUT the '95 is a stick so in that sweet spot of 4500-5000 rpms it feels more powerful. Such a hard question to answer smile.gif because honestly the two cars are so entirely different, but I am going to have to say that the '00 has ***slightly*** more get up and go, it hauls, but all in all they are very close. To defend my ST, it's much more fun to drive and has a really good pep to it, I am sure that when I get my intake, exhaust, headers and other fun add ons, the 'st will own the 00.

Welcome welcome. Glad to know someone else on here also enjoys the 2000 era celica, and it's not just me anymore! I also have a 6gen and 7gen... even though the 7gen just exploded. But it wasn't my fault. I definitely dig both of mine too. As for a color for the 95, I had a toss up between black and a sort of 350Z blue. I'm going with black. So you should go with blue. That way your dead cars feelings wont get hurt and I'll get to see pictures of what mine would have looked like.

Awesome! Another 7th gen lover!! I am leaning towards a midnight blackened blue maybe a metallic sheen. Or just stark blue that Appears black but blue in the sun smile.gif. Sorry to hear about your 7th gens engine. Are you planning on fixing it? What color is it?
