Hello,
So I thought I had the right 3 digit security code but it did not work. I also tried putting in 000 and other combos but nothing. Now the radio is display "HELP" and the owner's manual says to contact the dealer Does anyone have any idea how to unlock the radio? Thanks for your help! |

QUOTE Now the radio is display "HELP" and the owner's manual says to contact the dealer QUOTE Does anyone have any idea how to unlock the radio? wow. I called the dealer but I am not going to pay money for them to push a few buttons. I guess the next step is to search for Fujitsu and perhaps finds the correct sequence of key strokes. The radio is a Fujitsu 34210, the oem double din thanks |

i had to do the same with mine when i first got my car. so i brought my car to my uncle who works for toyota and unlocked the stereo for me for free. he had to contact the main office (in ontario somewhere) and had to validate that I'm the actual owner of the vehicle before they were able to give him the instructions and the unlock code. every stereo with this security feature apparently has its own unlock code, which is dependent on the 5-digit code printed on the front face. if i remember correctly there were about 7-8 different steps and required you hold certain buttons while pressing other buttons..
just wondering, how much did the dealer quote you? -------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

while an aftermarket stereo will put out much better sound and offer much better features, nothing is better than not having to install or remove your faceplate everytime you enter or leave your car.

I haven't done that in months.
