hey all, i have been having problems with the car going into boost and have been getting horrible throttle response.

i figured it was a leak so i checked all my ic/piping and the POS knock off Blow off valve i had (replaced with a tial Q)

after i did that, i drove it still bad response, so unless i missed a leak somewhere (i doubt) im automatically thinking wastegate. (i ruled out it being vaccum line placement because before i changed BOV's i could still feel a little boost albeit not much)

before i go taking apart the wastegate to inspect diaphram/spring i want to be sure so i will tell you what i hear when accellerating: when on WOT i hear a rush of air (similar to what it sounds like when i used to hit boost and it exits the dump tube when it was functioning proper)

whats weird is that my boost guauge will read 20psi if i hold it, but wont hold steady and will flutter when cruising on highway.

after researching im thinking wastegate, although i hear tial's reliability is near bulletproof. but ive also read other possiblities. I just want 6gc community opinion on this

thanx! biggrin.gif
