I live in a valley surrounded by hills, and all the hills around my town got a pretty decent amount. I'm aware though that this is probably the amount of snow you get in the month of July My area is going through a "cold-spell" this week, and it's pretty rediculous to watch the news and see that they are closing highways due to ice and worried about plants dieing when this would pretty much be warm temperatures for the rest of the world. It's barely even freezing!

my car got wrecked wednesday (9th of december) while driving along a back country road. nobody was injured but my car is pretty busted up.



i was going up a back road that i drive OFTEN (its the fun way to work) and was going around a 90 degree right. as i got about halfway through the corner i saw a dump truck in my lane. i slammed on the brakes and turned it to the inside.
didn't really help. i still got sideswiped by his back tires.

Damage:
needs a new fender and bumper and supports
new hubcap. it didnt just knock the hubcap off, it destroyed it.
and i need an alignment.

guy paid completely out of pocket. its at the body shop now.
will post 'after' pics

Thanks Luke. Nah, I didn't post a thread on it because I didn't feel it was necessary. I got a few plans for it but nothing major for now. Just going to keep it as a daily driver, fix the dents, maybe a new paint job. I would really like to convert that Celica and drop that $5.2k on the parts for it.... Although it is really tempting now having this car here to either put it in this or get another one (as I honestly instantly fell in love with this car so much, I plan on getting another MR2 Turbo in the future). But.... We'll see what happens.

Well for the fender, I would rather just replace that. The door isn't really that bad. It looks worse in that pic than it actually is. It looks like it could mostly pop out with a few crinkles in it. The fender? That is a pretty severe dent. Plus there is a rust spot and I would rather just replace it. Hell, I might even replace the door, as I do not want bondo on the car where it isn't necessary.

Thanks man. Luckily there is a kid here in town parting out a black MR2, so I will see what parts I can get from him and then paint this one up.
