I never even watched the first one. Looked tacky to me. I did, however, watch the original Iron Man a long time ago.

No it's Whiplash.

I have zero interest in seeing Book of Eli.

What's the point in the Book of Eli? I mean... Denzel holding a book and the other guy (book collector) wants to have it? pretty lame. Ending was lame as well.. I give it 1 and half stars. lol

I liked book of eli! but to be honest.... im on the fence about this ironman 2... whiplash?!? come on now... he's got more noteworthy opponents than him! (and besides, marvel is getting real cheezy with their movies nowadays ex: wolverine origins, punisher dead zone.) if marvel wants to redeem themselves this movie HAS to be good!

Not to stray off topic, and at risk of making myself look like a jackass, I liked Wolverine Origins. Although not exactly accurate according to the comics, it was pretty kickass and a refreshing way to view a marvel movie, which most recently have been about feelings instead of epic awesome stuff. There was a lot of cool stuff about stuff that went boom and click and smash and rip, my kind of movie wink.gif.

Back on topic, Iron Man 2 gave me hopes because of Robert Downey Jr. It dashed my hopes because of Mickey Rourke. At the end, it looks like Tony Stark created a second Iron Man to shoot robots with guns... call me crazy, but it sounds like too many idea's for something that should be a lot simpler.

I could be wrong and they could pull off a sort of Lord of the Rings thing, but really it seems like too many idea's for one film, like Terminator 4.

Um...just to make a tiny correction but that "second Iron Man" would be War Machine; who would be the Yin to Iron Man's Yang.

He's also the biggest reason I have to see Iron Man 2 (I'm a WM fan) besides Scarlett Johansson in leather/latex. wink.gif

Terribly sorry, I never followed Iron Man all that much, had no idea about War Machine, nor did I know that he was a huge plot in the original comics ><. Now knowing this information, the movie seems much more interesting. In fact, it puts a lot of things in perspective in the trailer. Hmm, interesting. Thanks for that info yo.

You can't get on Marvel's sh!t for X-men & Wolverine, those rights were sold to Fox, and Marvel has a lot less to do with them than they do the new stuff, like Hulk 2.0, Iron Man, Thor, Capt. America & the Avengers movie planned.
