I think you should sell the m3 motor buy a rotary motor put that in the trunk and do a v drive setup.That think would be a monster. Oh well nevermind but I like the e3o idea more than putting the m3 motor in the celica.

Like a lot of people said. It would just be too much work and maybe not really wort it. Wiring will be hell and modifying the whole floor of the car to fit a transmission and drive shaft and modifying the rear for a diferential. and thousands of $ later. What if you just think you could have bought a complete running and farely new M3?

just throwing it out there but a stock supra mkiv beat a stock M3 with othing but variable boost control...

so... insted of modifying a celica to pieces.... go buy a damn supra CUZ ITS A RWD m3 powered celica and then some.. lol

Four words: Power to weight ratio.

M3 = Heavier than Celica.

^ That, AND the most important fact...a fu*#&4987349797 RWD Celica! Who wouldn't want that?

But this guy hasn't posted in a few weeks...I'm hoping it's because he's Frankenstein'ing the hell out off his Celica as we speak.

It would be cool to throw a Supra into a Celica shell. Why doesn't somebody do that? It seems like it makes enough sense to me...

Because it would be easier to just take a supra and do a front and rear end conversion since the shell is already designed for RWD

X2 and don't worry about the holes, those are speed holes/weight reduction, gotta think positive.

No, not worth it. there are better options, sell that motor and buy 3sgte. it will be cheaper at close to 6000 for total swap.

Sorry to burst the bubble, but its true. A lot of people want to be innovative, but without money, are Ideas like this die in a snap....

You want power, swap, or turbo. But the appropiate information is in the stikies.

I'd say buy an old 3 series with a ton of miles on it and do the swap into that car. Save a lot of money and still have a fun car.

The RWD celica is my dream since i bought it...it maybe very expansive...just continue the project...you'll have one of the more exciting celica in the world...don't care about anything...if you can spend that money do it, the fun you'll get with will make you think it have been worth...

Just some curiousity, whic are the works on the chassis you're going to do, or you did?
