WHAT? My rear is slightly lower than that. If you have coils, might as well SLAM IT. But wait until the fronts are on, otherwise it'll look disproportionate.

And that letter highlighting didn't hold up too well? Bummer, I was considering doing that when new tires come.

Anyway, congratulations. I've kind of got a feeling that I need to go more lowAr as well...the mod/lowering bug has definitely hit.

Feel much more confident in turns. Car handles already so much better even with rears. Ill see if i can keep up with your skills.

And now a set of Rays Extended Type Red Lug Nuts. biggrin.gif Bought them 2nd hand cause i didnt feel i needed it new... Ill take the wheel off every now and then and then the lug nuts will get scratched either way. So i bought these for a fraction of the retail cost. Very happy.

Extended FTW.

Sucks cause its raining again right now and forecast to rain all weekend. I hope it stops so i can put the front coils in. Sigh..

Happy with how it looks, will lower the front more when i have time. Needs to start learning the curves of the new suspension. Steering feels totally different, much lighter and senseative. Also i need to get a wheel alignment done this weekend. Also thinking to take off my spoiler.

The pics make the spoiler looks massive, its really not in real life. The roof of the car only just reach my pecks so the spoiler is like a eating table for noodles. Its hard to say. Spoiler off, spoiler on....

Oh yeh and also got some ricey jdm exterior mods that i might try out. Should make the car stand out more uniquely. smile.gif

ahh very nice. whats your ride hieght? (measure from the bottom of the guards to the centre of the hubs.)

the spoiler I was also unsure about with my celica, because I thought the SS-III spoiler would look far to big (almost "got wing") though my spoiler I like at the moment as it makes my celica wider smile.gif

so whats the other little mods you have in mind?

Some photos ive gotten around posting of the install job.

All jacked up ready to go.

The stocks

Patiently waiting for a life of harsh abuse.

And wam bam in like lightning.

Never forgetting to apply the grease. Blue yum, looks as good as it tastes.

Money shot of the top mount

Money shot of the coils with the rays nuts on. Who doesnt love some red nuts?

Shot of wheel with nuts on

Problem with aftermarket parts, they are sometimes never as good as oem. The brake line bracket wasnt perect... so i couldnt mount the brake line to it.

Being how jdm i was, cable tied it on. Untill i get off my ass and buy some extenders to mount it.

And my try at Rustys infamous hover celica!

Hope everyone enjoyed that as much as i did writing all this at 3:10am!!

32cm for the rears and 34.5cm for the fronts, roughly.

The girls prefer the wingless wink.gif

What i love about it is the cutoff of the rear boot. When i stand next to the rear end its so dam low, and its hawt. Heres a pics of the measuring tape from the ground to the top of the rear boot.

I liked it too. If I ever repaint my car, it's getting a duckbill for sure.

i went spoilerless for a sec, thought it looked too much like a civic eg coupe, and i didn't like that one bit.

and chicks may dig spoilerless...but when your car is boosted it wont matter, haha
