pretty sure i read somewhere that it was confirmed the ft-86 will NOT be placed in the Scion brand.

I side with ya on that.

Also there are a multitude of threads all over the internet trying to guess what the new name will be, but as far as I know no one ever dare mention the name Scion whilst speaking of the FT-86. Do we have a FT-86 naming thread here?

That's not what we are talking about. We are talking about a Scion TC but for the Toyota Line. Essentially having the same car is what we mean. Something no manly man feels good about driving, knowing that when we seen one, we are hoping to see a hot chick inside as expected.
