I have a 7AFE and I currently get about 30mpg on average. Would getting bigger fuel injectors lower my mpg?

but, why? The ecu will still dump the same amount of fuel in regardless of the size of the injectors..

actually it will open the injectors the same amount of time.. dumping in more fuel, making it run rich = lost power/mpg. untill the ecu auto corrects, then it will be about the same.

Is it expensive to make the ECU dump in more fuel? You'd have to pay to reprogram the ECU, which is not really a project you wanna try out yourself if you don't know what you're doing. Reprogramming the ECU can be expensive, ask around and se what kind of deals you can get. -Ryan |
