 Does anyone know if a rev2 engine water pump (st185) fits a rev3 engin, Need help buying a water pump mines making a kind of grinding/knocking |

I'm hearing a knocking/grinding sound coming from my top timing cover. I'm assuming its my water pump, It's much easier to locate a St202 or St185 or even a MR2 turbo water pump, but the st185 has the rev 2 engine and the mr2's thats available, and the st202 has the 3s engine but its none turbo,
has anyone tried fitting a pump from any of these to the rev3 engine (st205) please help
