I think he's referring to Spider Lite X2 LED Tail light bulbs. They need enough room in the tail light to be able to open up fully when installed. They insert like a regular bulb, and once inside the light they expand. Pretty neat, I've never seen them on a 6th Gen Celica so IDK if the tail lights are too small inside or not? I think the 3 arm design might fit better than the 5 arm ones. They're available in white, red, or amber.

I personally think they're rubbish. Behind the JDM lights they're not very evenly dispersed. Would be better if they branch out more.
You get a better result from a LED cluster bulb. |

I had a feeling I know led dont disperse well with the older style red lenses. I just feel like I need to do something cheap until I order my tails. Ill just wait i had figured since they are cheap Ill give them a shot. I wont waste my money. I would still like to see what they look like though. |

I gave up on LED tail lights, I had the 360 deg SMT bulbs.
I tend to find every so often an SMT will burn out one by one until you have no light at all. This can take months or years, eventually they just burn out. You have no way of knowing since the tail light out indicator on the dash no longer works. -------------------- Mike W
