I'm debating a part out on it, being the tabs on the projectors near the wreck are shot. The casing itself is fine, thought it was cracked, but isn't. Just a scuff that i'm sure will buff out. Those potentially could replace all the salvage cost themselves.

Seatcovers, raiser blocks, and rear splitters. The fronts are done, I don't even know where the piece to one of them is, the tow truck guy can be thanked for that.

I wouldn't trust the spring that was on the wreck personally.

The rest meh, not worth much. I got the whole 3s set to sell if I can't find a shell in a respectable timeframe.

I don't want to sound negative, but reality is starting to hit home now.

Wow that's a lot of damage, I'm sorry you have to go through this man. Its one thing when your car looks like crap after an accident, but getting your suspension boned like that is the worst. I hope the frame is straight and that you can repair it.

btw did the VW girl have an explanation?

Yea, I'm pretty sure its not repairable. Alot of it can be replaced, but the unibody part I can't see myself fixing, or even the knowledge on where to start.

laugh.gif She sure did..I quote "I thought I had enough room" - Where she got that idea, I have no clue.

I don't want to sound mean and all, being she was a nice girl, with what appeared to be young mind trying to make it in a rough world. I can relate, but at the same time she destroyed my baby, and my marker in life that was my turning point from my old ways. Which really pisses me off and makes me want to find her car, and destroy it...so she can possibly feel atleast somewhat of the loss I have right now. Obviouslly I won't, but today is a ruff day.

It wasn't just a car to me, was alot more.

Been looking around for another shell, but there isn't much in this area. The ones I do see are high high priced being they run and are still reliable DD's for someone. 5k+ I don't have. I think the most I'll have for another is around 1.5 to 2k.

The simpliest option is to part out, sell the 3s, and scrap the rest for metal cost. That would give me around roughly 4-5k for another vehicle, but it obviouslly won't be a 6gc. Which is the kicker...I want a 6gc.

Looking for alternate shells before I put the 3s up, but its not looking good in this area.

That MR2 shell is nice! But I think I'm going to stay in the 6gc if I can find another.

Settled with the insurance this morning. Adjuster ended up favoring celica's, though he liked the 5th gen more, he was a tuner that felt the pain.

No work to the title, or any salvage fees paid.

He gave me the max value, plus 300 for some time off work. Check cut for 2400, which should be plenty for me to find another, as well anything I can part out of the current one. Its a very fair deal considering I was already on a salvage title, I believe the motivator was he didn't want to do all the paperwork involved to title and transfer here in FL. He even mentioned the hassle. Plus I get to keep everything from the old one, which was the selling point for me.

So expect a FS part out thread soon on the old cellie, going to hurt taking her apart, but I know there is light at the end of this tunnel now.

I was almost sure they were going to screw me, but that would be my negative side! My apologies to the lizard.

There are quite a few options for you, if you are up for a little road trip.

Yea I just found a red GT with leather, sunroof alloys and tires for 1500. Running and good..

Believe I got the deal sealed, going to pick up tomorrow if all works out.

Been scouring the craigs list all over FL for 2 days now. Didn't see that white one, but ignored that first 1000 one =P
