First question, will upgrading my shifter bushings really make that big of a difference? i already have the 7th get shifter and aluminum base bushings for my shifter, so how much difference is there?
and will these bushings work? i know they say they will fit a 7th gen celica, tc, yada yada, but alot of the parts off the 7th gen fit our cars, here is the link -------------------- 1996 Toyota Celica Project Mean Green

It depends on what you are considering a BIG difference. Will you knock .5sec off your 1/4 mile...probably not. But will the gearbox feel and engage more directly yes. If your shifter bushings are already worn then it would make a more noticeable difference. But really for under 50 bucks what can you be expecting???

Small mods such as these, polyurethane motor mounts, polyurethane bushings, etc. are just better for the overall feel and performance of the vehicle. -------------------- 2006 BMW 330i - 6 Speed - Dinan Stage 1
