1997-2001 Toyota Camry 2.2 litre A/C compressor is the same as our 6th gen. Denso 471-1217 and make sure you keep your original compressor to swap in the manifold as all new and reman compressor do not come with the manifold.

measured them at the junkyards and they were the same overall length despite toyota listed different clutch part numbers.

Toyota does not sell the MAF gasket separately and only comes with the intake air box. This can be used on 2JZ, 1UZ, 1MZ and 3S-GE Beams redtop motors. simply email the person listed in the picture and it shouldn't be more than $5.

a super rare spec made by Rays (probably custom ordered) not even listed in the 2002 TRD Catalog. 16x8JJ with +38offset. However finding tires in a 225/45R16 is very difficult unless its an R compound. so there may be a 17x8 +33offset floating somewhere around the world.

castings for the redtop/greytop and dual vvt-i blacktop manual trans head are the same. To my understanding, you can't use blacktop cams in a redtop cylinder head because the exhaust cams lobes are wider in order to accommodate the larger blacktop buckets. Redtop buckets are 31mm while Blacktop Dual VVT-i (manual trans) are 33mm.

tuning that Toyota produced for the Altezza engine. https://www.trdparts.jp/parts/archive/parts...gine-3s-ge.html

someone is detailing the conversion of Altezza motor into a FWD setup. https://www.mr2oc.com/threads/3s-ge-beams-b...rite-up.693735/
another member on fb has attached a C64 transaxle onto 3S-GE Dual VVT-i engine and is putting it into an ST202. he'll keep my updated as soon as its installed but mentioned Late summer 2025 is more than likley when i'll get on a dyno

the Caldina Greytop (auto spec only) was produced until 2002

Benefits of Dual VVT-i motor over single vvt-i redtop:
Better flowing intake manifold, higher compression, exhaust vvt-i (greater flat torque curve), larger buckets/lifters, different valve springs and more aggressive camshaft profile.

As far as cooling is concerned, I was told by a member who has an ST185 Celica; that his oem koyorad radiator kept engine cool on track up to 400hp. better than the dual core alloy radiator. The OEM fans are quite large and flow a lot of cfm, but come close to contacting the oem exhaust manifold. Keep your OEM (Koyo brand plastic tank header and footer) and upgrade to SPAL IX-30101522 fans.

was thinking about making a the power steering bracket (2 pounds 5 oz) and 3SGTE/3SGE idler pulley bracket (3 pounds 14 oz) out of 6061 alloy. My guess is I could get the weight down by half but the price would just be too much unless 100 were made. was looking into an all alloy power steering pumps. however all the newer toyota ones are the style that are bolted directly to the block and use one large belt (such as that on the 1zz and 2azfe engines)

-Larger wheel bearing are stiffer and help with more confident braking because it prevents pad knock back which in turn delays brake pedal feedback under high g turning. Integra Type R and Celica SS3 have about same bearing mass.

mehh. when i was having my headlights converted to rhd with aftermarket projectors in them. the guy said he could get a mold of the oem fogs and make a clear lense from plastic or glass. then he would retrofit an projector fog inside the housing.

1zzfe and 2zzge coolant drain block. You'll def want this as draining the block with the original bolt will make a mess alll over your chassis and exhaust bpipe.

Toyota does not sell the low pressure rubber hoses for the power steering system. Original size is 13/32nd but this 7/16th is about 1mm larger and will work just fine with oem clamps.

thats unfortunate, whoever engineered the caliper bracket needs to go back to drawing board. Shiming it to center the caliper on the rotor shouldn't be needed. thats only necessary for axial mounted mono or 2 piece calipers. get the oem 6gc rotor, 28mm is same as oem porshe 986 rotors

interested that the flowformed trd strut brace version 2 is more rare than i thought. seems to be something toyota made for the last 2 years of production.

just looked at the usa spec celica service manual (thru toyota website) (im a lexus tech) and there is nothing in the manual about theft/alarm system. so this is Euro and Japan domestic markets only. your better off posting about this on facebook.

really 16k? hard to believe, they turned back the odometer?

do you have any dead spots in your gauge cluster? i heard this is an issue with older vehicles and was reading up on a bmw forum. the late 90s 3 series that had the orange backlighting like the SS-III.

my 110-130kmh (ausie SX-R) middle section is hard to read at night even with 5 SMD led swapped into cluster.
