They kind of feel like a Supra, the weight and bulk feels good, they're solid on the highway for cruising.

They are great cars if you know how to work on them.. This is my 4th one. I love it to death. It looks better than the majority of coupes out there. They are heavy but they are flat in the corners which is amazing. Took 12 celicas to have the perfect one for myself as well

I think they have a bit of a garish 90s style whereas the conservative Celica styling is a lot more timeless. Never did get a 3l six though...

Had a 3000GT, never again. Though if you want an AWD two door with a manual not too many other options out there, and none are really any more reliable. If you want an AWD two door with a manual and something bigger than a four cylinder it's pretty much the only option. Though the Audi S5 4.2 V8 with a manual would be my choice if something that big and heavy with questionable reliability and highway robbery maintenance were of no concern.

Finally got my 1st gen out and drove it to work today. The morning was nice since it's a cool 67 degrees which is perfect driving weather.
but I'm gonna pay for it later when I get out and it's 90+ with no AC. lol no ragrets!
