So...first post, total noob Q, but I just bought the car, so please cut me some slack.
I have just purchased an imported '95 JDM GT4, about 175Kkm on the clock, and shifting between gears feels really vague. It may be that I just haven't driven it enough yet to get smooth and comfortable with the action, but do the bushings or bearings in the stick-base wear out? Is it something that requires a lot of digging? I'm a good and competent mech on motorcycles, but don't have much car-work experience outside normal upkeep. Any info would be appreciated. |

Thanks for the replies! When I first posted this it seemed to disappear, so I didn't know if I'd posted to a closed thread or what.
I'll get looking at the bushings and cube first. I don't think it's a major thing like the clutch itself - seems to work fine - but the motor mount makes me go hmmm. Much appreciated! |
