Awhile ago Jeff told me to consolidate my crap so here goes

Spec:
1996 USDM ST

Stage 1:
-invader body kit, custom bumper scoop, Velox VX-6 18" wheels, Arospeed Coilovers, GT4 rear strut bar, several different exhausts, JDM tails, 5th gen power folding mirrors

Stage 2:
- supra front end conversion (only 75% completed at any given point)

all in all, it got the whole deal of under glow, interior neon, subs, amps, dual/single exhausts, CAI, SRI, TWM SSK, and most things under the sun you can do as a ricer.

now......that stuff comes to an end and the story starts over

Step 1: remove horrible front end

Step 2: remove motor (note you can see missing "sub" frame here

Step 3: power wash clean the empty bay

Step 4: Jack stands on 4 corners and remove suspension

Step 5: pointlessly tape up and start stripping

Step 6: black primer

Step 7: ditch the interior internals

Step 8: drive to jersey in overheating truck to get a bare clip (don't forget to remove excess)

Step 9: remove donor firewall

9b: remove my firewall

Step 10: replace with donor wall

Step 11: find Ultra super dooper mad JDM elephant tite Curren parts, drive Ghetto nascar van to get it

Step 12: install Ultra super dooper mad JDM elephant tite Curren parts

Step 14: ditch the sunroof its way too heavy

Step 15: ditch spare tire well, make more room under car smooth out floor board

Step 16: remove glass from doors (heavy, and you can't have windows up while racing)

Step 17: paint engine subframe hot pink because you can

Step 18:
Realize your garage sucks so put up ceiling: only partially finished, gotta get more and clean out the crap a lot more
(its a temp garage so we make do) car modification pictures will come soon smile.gif

Step: 19 Carbon fiber license plate trim

more to come soon as I get more done smile.gif

plan is to set the motor up in FWD, to start, and tune it on FWD. For the sake of time and $.
Once the motor is tuned (hopefully not breaking too many axles in the process) and running like it should. I'll take on a RWD setup.

since i haven't done the rear end yet, the rear tirewell area has not been touched.

but if all you wanted to do is eliminate the tire well. You could use a flat sheet of metal with beads rolled into it (maybe 4 across) and that would be sufficient.
