I dont think it flows with the car. Or maybe the tires make it look like a wannabe moster truck. Maybe some skirts and front and rear lip and the wing to conplete the rockt bunny look. Its not ugly, but its missing

true. the edges are a bit rough at the moment. We'll see how they deal with all that. This is definitely just the starting stages. I will update if new pics pop up anywhere as it's hard to know when I can't read Thai. laugh.gif

Yeah I think the wheels are just a little bit too wide so it looks a little off. Either bring them in a bit or a bit of negative camber and I think it would look nicer

I don't like it . It just doesn't go with the car. It looks like one of those rc cars with giant wheels on them.

I was being nice earlier, but this. If for once someone would take the time to mold the panels into the body versus just riveting them on it might actually look nice. That and tuck the wheels in...

Yeah I'm not a fan of the rivets. They look ok on some cars but most of the time it just looks like lazy body work to me. It's definitely not my taste but to each their own

Personally not a fan, and this is coming from someone who is a fan of the Rocket Bunny kit, but it just doesn't work on this car.
I think the car sits too high and also needs skirts or a lip (maybe this will be fixed once complete), and the wheels are poking out a bit too much for my taste.

I just can't see this style working out well on a gt-four (or front end swap), but maybe they can prove me wrong.

Looks like these are just huge fenders riveted on, along with sideskirts. Maybe if they re-worked the front fenders, have some nice rear quarter pieces, add-ons, etc.

BUT, i will admit those damn Thailanders have awesome rides! Can't wait to go see my friend and his gt-four in Thailand next winter!!!

That is just the normal RB for the 86 but being cut down and modified for the 6G.

It looks like theyve used rear arches for the front as well and extended the bottom a bit.

Rocket bunney is a JDM tuning shop. they are known for the fender flares. Wide low

IMO Regardless if you like it or not, you've got to respect the workman ship. Not many guys thinking outside the box these days

I believe the first shot is of Timmyface's car, with different wheels and fender obviously.

It kills me on what people do with their car and half of it is counter-intuitive with their drive-train layout if not physics in general. That's ok, they give me something to do while driving. tongue.gif

Geeze those spacers are ridiculous.
Not really a fan of the front piece how it comes all the way down flaring out. Makes it almost too wide looking, but maybe that will change upon final completion.

LOL! yeah huge spacers for sure.

yeah I'm not sure on the front either. I feel like maybe if it was on a non gt-four front, it would look fine.

also, I think they are basing their design off of this so we'll see how it turns out:

I'd be scared to drive a car with spacers that big, I don't like the idea of spacers to begin with though.

yeah I only run 20mm and one of the rear ones came pretty loose on the highway because I didn't tighten it enough. made for a really scary ride. but after that, tighten them all up and rides fine now. I can only imagine if one of those were to loosen up while you were driving.

Even with everything being securely bolted, moving the rotational mass of the wheel that far out and depending on 5 bolts to hold up that and the increased rotational mass with the spacer... You couldn't pay me to ride in a car like that. Not to mention to the adverse effects on handling and braking. Show car sure why not, but keep it on a trailer...

Maybe if you had a custom rim made with lots of inset, at least then the mating surface is still directly on the hub. Looking at the RX-7 it looks like at least part of there's is from such.

OK
Bunnies
I like them. not all of them (as it comes to many things when you build a car beyond the expected) but I like them.

I managed to have my hands on an original plastic liberty walk kit for a E92 BMW.
and as some of you have already saw at the fb groups I am building an rb kit for the 6gc.

It will be more tidy than the thai one
It will allow to be fitted with all of the oem ssIII, trd, c-one parts.

I will start a new thread when I find some time these days with plenty of photos.

this is a photo of the BMW fenders that I just test to see on the celica.
Nothing to do with the final result. just a photo wink.gif

I like it except for I would've chosen a different color and maybe a different front lip style. Great though for a built from scratch job though.

I lost interest in this after seeing how the bottom parts of the flairs look and the lip and the skirt. Its like they gave up trying to make it look good when finding a way to blend it to the car. I actually really dislike it now.

^Ditto, it's a shame they didn't try and make it fluid. All this time I'm thinking so they can have ST-205s to ruin and yet I can't get one for another five years.

I do remember a guy with a white GT4 with a carbon diffuser and RB spoiler he made him self I think in Paraguay? I saw some up to date photos a few months back where he had done the RB arches too. His worked well because he has a stock ish look and it was just arches which flowed with the car. Ill try and find the pic.

nice! yeah pics would be awesome. I think with any RB or wide body celi, a diffuser would look awesome.

This is exactly how i feel, except I couldn't find the words to describe it. The bottom of the flares, looking from the front, are too wide IMO and don't really flow well. the front lip is also way to heavy as well.

If anything, the rear view is the only thing I do like about it. With proper wheel fitment, it has potential from the rear, but the rest is all off.

I don't like one thing about that car. Too ostentatious for me.

I have to disagree, I think if that car was a solid black or solid white it would be great. The thing that is letting it down is the stark contrast of the black carbon fiber and the white body. It looks good though and I'm not a fan of canards and body kits, but for some reason this works for me.
