Well I finished it a couple days ago. I used 4 gauge power wire. I had done the ground upgrades a while back and finally got around to doing this.
I got a nifty little fuse holder with a digital voltage display built in. I used a 70 amp fuse. Here you can see that the only spots you can see the wire is where it connects to the battery and alternator.. Here you can see how I routed it under my intake and master cylinder.. Here is the fuse I got. I need to figure out how i want to hook it up, as you can see I am holding a ground to it, but I dont want it to stay on all the time. BTW, dont mind the sock, i use it to quiet my alarm down. Here you can barely see the wire routed behind the intake manifold.. Here it is routed next to the timing belt cover.. And lastly, here it is hooked up to the alternator. I crimped the copper lug onto the wire, then heat shrunk it, and used electrical tape over that. |
