I've been asked a lot how I put these in so I figured I'd just write up a thread.

To do this you will need stock 6th gen seats from 96+ or newer.

These are 94 seats:

notice the plastic trim that goes all the way down the side... now these are newer 6th gen seats

hard to tell, but notice the plastic trim is different. So are the seat pans and rails and that's what we need.

Below: 94 seat rails on top and 7th gen on bottom.. again 94 rails will not work

Steps

-Unbolt the bottom seat cushion from the rails (this makes it easier to remove the plastic trim)

-Remove the plastic trim from both seats

-Remove the back cushion from the seat rails (4x 14mm bolts on the end of the rails)

-Take the bottom seat cushion for both 6th and 7th and remove the upholstery

-Transfer the seat foam and upholstery from the 7th gen seat to the seat pan of the 6th gen seat (lines up fairly well, use some zip ties to assist)

-Bolt the back cushion of the 7th gen seat to the seat rails for the 6th gen (direct fit)

-Reinstall the bottom seat cushion to the 6th gen seat rails(6th gen seat pan/ 7th gen foam and upholstery)

And you're done!
If you happen to find 7th gen leather seats that match the leather you already have, you can literally just swap over the rear seat cushion with four bolts if you prefer. The bottom seat cushions look very similar.

(I'll be adding some pics when I find them and cleaning this thread up a bit)
