Today I'm proud to announce that 6G Celicas is launching a new feature, high resolution image uploads.
 If you own a Celica, you now should have a new option in your control panel for you to upload high resolution images of your car. Images must be at least 1024x768, and must be high-quality, scenic photos in order to be approved by the management. Once images are authorized by the moderators and I, they'll be displayed on your profile, under a section entitled "High-Res Photos". For a couple examples of members with these high-res images, you can visit CelicaSTX02's profile, or bkohler81's profile. What's nice about these high-resolution photos is that they can be used for high-quality desktop wallpapers, they can be printed at higher quality, etc.  Please let me know what you guys think, and feel free to upload some large, high-quality photos if you have them.

Awesome. Love the pics! But too bad they're both with the Invader kit. Does anyone know where I can find hi-res pics of GT-4s (or conversions)? I can't find anything anywhere.

Nope. Any member with a Celica can have the extra photos in their profile. I'll go through the photos tomorrow and authorize some more.

is it just me or is it not possible to upload just regular pics anymore?...couldnt find that button anyways...happen to anyone else?

It should be on your Manage Your Account page. Also, afroman, that's a good idea. In the future I plan to make an icon appear next to members' rides that have high-res photos.

im sorry i must be really dumb. but this is all i see in the manage your account section.
Add High-Res Celica Photo Remove Celica Photos Edit Your Celica's Details Edit Your Profile Change Your Password I cant find the regular picture upload option. |

That's because you have 4 pictures already uploaded. Which is the default setting unless you do something to get more picture slots. That is, write up a how to, add parts to the database, do something for Coomer, have some big project...something like that. If you want to change your pics remove what you have now.

can you let me upload more then 4 photos too? the high rez feature is a cool idea. more celica wallpapers will come out of it. ...maby we would even have a wallpaper of the month type of thing going on.
