lol, i had the exact same prob Andason, thank god i tried the hatch before trying to break in
anyways, i think the main difference is that only a coupe can pull off an aluminum wing(if wanted) and a hatch can't. the flat back on a coupe i think would also look just a tad bit stranger than a hatch w/o a spoiler. -------------------- ![]() |

Lmao.. in reading this.. while I personally think liftbacks are much better looking (slanted back looks better than a straight back IMO), I wonder why no one ever says anything about the convertible? Do they just not care? Is it really THAT bad?

Convertibles aren't real cars, everyone knows that
And I think the ability of the coupes to have a drag spoiler is a reason to like the liftbacks. Hatch is just a noun is it? Then how do little birds get out of their shells? Hmmmm? Actually, it'd be kinda cool to weld the doors on and only get in and out through the back. Sure it'd probably be illegal and you'd be screwed if you crashed... but it'd totally cut down on weight. Man wasting bored[sic] space is fulfilling! -------------------- ![]() |

No one is saying anything about verts because verts are coupes with a fold down roof... They are not a totally different body design.

Anyway...someone explain (maybe with pics) the TRUE differences between a hatchback, a liftback, and a notchback? -------------------- |

Having a JDM Curren and a JDM GT4, i just about have all the range of Celis. They are practically the same cars so this discussion is pointless. They are both the best looking cars in their category. I would be more concern with the very low power the USDM cars have. Both cars have their advantages and disadvantages and no one can actually argue that one is better than the other.
