Problems with my sunroof Options

well, before i had a problem w/ my sunroof that it wouldnt open, it would move slightly, like you know how the front comes down a bit then slides back, i would only slide down and back, that was it, like it was stuck or something, so i took it out looked at it, and just put it back, since it wasnt really a problem. but then it started to work out of nowhere, and it was cool again... but not, its stuck again, only its stuck open, which IS a problem. So i want some help please, i need some help. i took it apart again to get a closer look, and i think there was something japped in the gears, but then i got it to work again. so i put it back on the the place where it belongs, and tried to close it and never open it again, but then... the motor turns for the sun roof, but the window doesnt even move, like the gears dont catch eachother, what should i do? any one experienced anything like this??? i need help soon please thanks.
