Yea the earlier Taurus SHOs we damn quick, they had a 3.2L 220 horsepower Yamaha race engine. The ones with 5spds were the best but when the Taurus's went to the new body style they changed engines and even though they were putting out 15 more hp and displaced .2L more they were slower than the older models because they were heavier V-8s.
