Alright, a few weeks ago, I painted the interior trim of my car and later that night I found out that my gauge cluster is out and where my climate control lights are out. Is this a fuse problem or something else, because I had a little trouble getting the cigarette lighter back in and I don't know if that had anything to do with it. But also I didn't touch anything with the gauage cluster. Please Help me, I kinda know how fast I'm going at night until up about 50, then its a little hard to guesstimate. frown.gif

Just check your fuses, you might have shorted something for a sec.

Did you paint around the little nob that changes how bright your lighting is? you may have messed something up around it.

Make sure that your dimmer knob harness is plugged in. That's most likely the problem, as it's happened to me before. Let us know if that's plugged in and you're still having the same problem.

Would the knob have anything to do with the climate control lights? I just thought it controled the dash. Also, I have checked and played with the knob plugging it in and out, but it is kinda loose, like I can push in on it a little. HElP ME, I CAN SEE!!!!!

The knob should control the brightness of everything in your dash except for your clock. Did plugging in the harness fix the problem, or are you still having problems?

Ok, it took me a couple of days to get around to check it, but I played around with it and guess what, still nothing. I really don't want to have to take it to toyota and have them laugh at me, please help. I don't know what it could be. frown.gif

I didn't mess with the fuses until after I found out they were out, could it be a fuse problem? Also, my brightness adjustment button feels kinda loose, like I can push the perimeter of it in like a button. Was it this way before with anyone else, or could this be a apart of the problem.
