Hi all!

Is the suspension on the ST amd GT the same?

Can you interchange suspension setup between models?

http://celica.henryvo.com/1997/models-features.html

http://celica.henryvo.com/96specs.html

From sites about, not much except rear disk brake since we are running more power and torque in the GT.

Ok:p

Here is the big question biggrin.gif

How different is the suspension setup on the GTFour compare to front and rear of the GT models?

http://www.rallycars.com/Cars/Toyota_GT4/S...lica_ST205.html

From what I am seeing here, very much different.

But how much in turn of setup?

i'm guessing the suspension would be very different because of the gt-four's all wheel drive, but don't quote me on that or anything. I'm guessin a different control arm setup is involved. confused.gif

the suspension is different... When I did my rear end conversion I had to get a completly new suspension setup for the rear. the gt ones will not work. It wasn't hard to install at all but you can't use your old stuff.

Like everyone's said, the GT-Four's suspension setup is different. As for the ST and GT, they share the same suspension setup, except the ST has drum brakes on back and the GT has disc brakes on back like you said. All of the strut bars will work with any model of the Celica however, except the rear strut bar won't work on coupes(But they don't need it anyway.)

Ok. But do there carry the same shock and springs setup?

I am guessing that you mean the GT and GT4 have the same shock and springs...no they don't if you do a conversion you will need new shocks and springs
