the new M3's are insanely fast, and the M5's even faster. the M3 is a V6 pumping out 333hp. And the M5 a V8 pumping out 394HP. I dont know the numbers on the M3 but the M5 does the 1/4 in just under 13.5. The M3 is in the same area but may be a little faster or slower. I have been infatuated with the new M3 since before it came out. I followed everything on that car, release dates and all that fun stuff! Beautiful car!

The old M3's arnt really anything special, basically a reg 3 series with a few bells and whistles... not fast like the new ones. And the M coupe Roadsters dont have anywhere near the power of an M3 either. They have something like 180hp, opposed to the 333hp.

What are you talking about a few bells and whistles? If an M series engine is "bells and whistles" then yes. Its a completely different engine not to mention and AMAZING engine. I had an 84 318i...it was light on its feet, RWD, which at 16 was swweeet. But the M3 of that year was a fast lil car.

Bimmer, not Beemer.

Also, the M-roadster has an M3 engine in it. The 2001 model was 310hp and the size of a civic with the Z3 style one, and the hatchback one. Its faster than an M3.

Also Also, the M3 is a straight 6, not a V.

Oh, and your fired.

You have to be kidding me. Whats this i hear about 2001 M3s and M5s? Lol, you are comparing the best model BMW is making (and most expensive) to our old and chiep Celis.

Why dont you put it next to a full loaded supra for comparison and then we talk again.

I have always hated the BMWs and in general all European cars. Nothing beats the reliability and design of the JDMs especially Toyotas. The new M5 has a 5.0L engine and about 500 bhp ,50 kgm torgue and 0-60 in 5 secs. and its a V10. The cost is insane but it looks fine. The design of the latest bmws has improved, except of the 7 serioes which looks ugly as hell.

Personaly i came accross plenty of bmws with reliability problems so...

No thank you, i ll stick with my GT4.
