Recently I have been seriously considering doing a 3sgte swap on my '94 GT. I am well aware of the advantages of this swap. I want to hear more about the cons. For those of you out there that have done this here are some questions.

1. which retailer did you buy the engine from? would you recommend them? which generation engine did you get? how much did you spend? did you get just the engine, rear clip of and mr2, etc...

2. are there any parts that do not hook up correctly. cruise control, a/c, ecu, etc...ANYTHING no matter how small tell me.

3. what other parts will need to be replaced, besides transmition. and on that note does anyone know where i could get a compatable 6spd transmition.

Please tell me any and every bit on info you have, please include total costs. bowdown.gif

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.
