Hey guys! I did the "do it yourself" mesh grille w/ the directions from the "How to" section on here. I was just wondering what you guys think looks better, putting the grille behind the black support bars, or in front of them? The pics of both styles are listed on my other car page found here:

http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/508808/5

Take a look when you can & let me know which you like better...thanks biggrin.gif

I did both of these a while back and decided that I didnt like either one, so now I just have the stock grille and am looking around for a body kit. I liked it better behind the support bars, but I think it would look better if there were no bars there at all like some bumpers have.

Where'd u get that mesh BTW it looks better than what i used.

I like it behind amy. I tried to put mine in front also, but decided on putting it behind the bars.

If you can try to get the corners of that mesh a lil cleaner. Looks a lil weird with it bugging on the corner like that? IMO smile.gif

Amy did you spray it with a paint or anything? I used the home depot mesh also, but used a paint on it. Tends to "rust" up on ya if you leave it plain after awhile in the elements. Especially in snowy/salty states.

hehe...yea CelicaQT ill have to trim that S.O.B. up a bit, I think was more worried about makin it fit. Plus I figure if anyone is looking THAT close....its I ran them over lol!

I havent sprayed anything on it....its galvanized steal so I shouldnt have a problem w/ rust...that stuff isnt suppose to rust! But...I guess it wouldnt hurt to spray it anyway wink.gif

I like it in the front. I'm gonna have to get to home depot sometime.

Def, what bulbs do you use, I just saw your profile, that kicks ass!

I left mine as is. they lasted a long time, over a year they started to dull out. So I'm redoing them I think I'm gonna paint the this time see how that looks
