this has probably been discussed already but why cant a 99-02 toyota-caldina st215 3s-gte+5spawdmt (front clip) be used for a swap? http://www.venus-auto.com/inventory/toyota/i-st215.htm

ya man wiring would be insane, i wish u could use the caldina because the st215 comes in auto.

hmm interesting so mostly the problems would be wiht the wiring.... aside from that the engine shoudl bolt up pretty nice wht minor mods? i got this friend who is the master at wiring and he is gonna do my swap for me im just figureing out my optinos on the engine

as far as i know, it cant be done becuase of completely different wiring setups... the 185 and 205 use the same wiring setups, just different pinouts... the 215 uses a completely different wiring setup...

but i dont really know anything about this stuff..

hey,
off topic a bit but do you know there is 2 Caldina's in Cali right now.. they were brought in by Toyota .. possibly test car? i know they have cali dealer plates so who knows..

well umm there is a caldina clip on ebay right now for 3500.00 in new jersey.
