If this was directed to me I feel a little offended. If it was directed towards the silver celica picture from the original usafiberglass thread then I couldn't agree more.

I like doggy's original design better. Wannbe's front looks to much like a blitz on an eclipse. Why not just buy an eclipse.

I don't see why Wannabe. You only have half-rate photoshop skills. I don't mean that in an offensive way, but it is the truth. Check out www.worth1000.com for some real photochopping.

I think you should both chill the **** out neither of you have the right to claim ownership over a group-buy kit design, you can only input ideas. If you have problems with using each other's designs you should PM each other instead of just flaming that badly in a group-thread. Wannabe you should realise that Doggy is a respected 6gc member who has taken a few of his designs all the way through to completion and documented this for us. You have no 6gc credit so far, so I wouldn't go starting ****.

I am kinda unbiased because I don't like either of the designs, except for doggy's (I mean Varis') side skirts. biggrin.gif

Lets keep the ideals coming seriously. This aint about taking sides. We need a bodykit, and EVERYBODY HERE has ideals and opinions. I dont like everything I have seen, but borrow a little here and there, and this might work. Theres also no need for personal attacks against fellow 6th genners here. The more ideals the better. I do appreciate wannabe photoshopping some pics I provided and welcome everybody to do their own personal twists and tears on anything I provide. Personally Im looking for a wilder yet complimenting to my celica lines. The wide body kit on the racers looks pretty cool.
My main goal with my celica is to make it look like a 2005 model. The projectors Im ordering will help, but the tailights(even jdm) are so early 90s. Not a problem for me at least, as Im willing to do a tailight conversion. The pics I provide are sort of the stuff I like personally. As I said before, I just need a front end as I got the rear and sides(on order) I want.
Here are some front ends I like.
Can someone please add these bottoms to the celica top on photoshop so I can see if I like them. Thank you everybody who has got involved!

Yeah I don't want to knock whoever did the photoshop (because it's a good job),

"half rate photoshop skills" / "good job" make up your mind KAMiX. worth1000.com didn't impress me at all. Was there a certain picture you wanted me to see? Now if you had compared me to Bert Monroy I'd understand.

Never said I was claiming ownership. I'm just sharing my ideas.

QUOTE

I've shown him respect all the way up to the point where I thought he flipped out... Then he posted some of the reasons he was upset and I apologized. So yeah I respect him.

Wannabe, i understand you, and i accept your apologise. Period.

Let all forget this, and start everything in a different way. I can tell one thing guys, that we all wount agree on one thing, same with the kit, if there will be good loking for 40% of people 30% percent may think that i is ugly, and other 30% may think that it is "OK".

I dont know how to deal with this proble, we all have different tastes, but we need atleast to find somthing that is looking good, and after that make a detailed images.

Well, i will contune on my new kit idea, no mater what, i will post pics, i will try to describe everything clearly. If you will like it, then youll be able to make it.

Yea its cool looking. You imagine making a mini grill like that and putting a toyota emblem on it. I like the lexus also, but not enough airflow for the radiator!

I like this front as well Doggy:

I hope you can incorporate our headlights into this design and make it look right. Nice work posting some concepts Madmods. Also, for sideskirts, I would be interested in seeing some designs that have airvents - particularly vents that are rounded rather than with sharp angles.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

K i noticed that no one responded to this post yet, so i am. Is this the final kit YOU want madmods? or the final kit for everyone? What kind of car is that btw?? Kinda looks like a eclipse. Anyway i think that kit is too extreme for the celi.
Anyway, has anyone thought of looking for more of a exotic look?? I was a little bored i just thought that this car is BEAUTIFUL!

Just a thought, i wanted to put my $.02 in on this topic also.

P.S Doggy you are a respected member of 6gc, we all love the work you do and we certainly hope you do post those drawings of yours soon. Keep up the good work.

That looks great.. what about the possibility of a GT4 hood scoop in the front tho? Maybe not, I haven't tried it.. how much room for a FMIC would this kit have?
