I decided to test fit the harness to see if the changes would be long enough. This entailed installing the harness on the engine and doing a quick engine install to check things out.
Here are a few pics of the motor. Next project: "The rat's nest." Believe it or not, I must now 'shorten' most of the wires that go to the firewall. I only needed to lengthen 12 wires. The injector plugs sorted themselves out when I installed the motor. Thanks to the rubber jackets on the wires. Age had placed permenent kinks in them that only allowed them to fit in one place.
