hey all, workin on painting my valve cover with this "anodized look" paint...did some sanding and dremeling to get the casting flash off and stuff...looks decent so far, think i may do another couple coats...what do ya think? wink.gif

i have the engine jsut sitting on the stand,...so i figured, why not..just did another coat, its starting to look more solid now biggrin.gif

did you the ground coat first cause that well help alot and it will look beeter cause i used the green and it makes a huge difference , pluse the ground coat had sparkle to that shows threw in the sun

yea the groundcoat is what NEEDS to go on first cause its like primer the paint might come off without it......and you might wanna check and make sure that the heat range doesn't exceed what metalcast can go up to cause i know the vavle cover can exceed at least 150F

nope no base coat cuz it was bare metal....heres another pic, i did a couple more coats, looks ALOT better now!! biggrin.gif

You should tie it up with some rope; put a candy apple in it's intake manifold and take pictures of yourself whipping it.
