I was looking at ebay and I found the c-one style body kit. I dont really care too much for the Veilside sides or rear they are offering as a match...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...4&category=6755

My questions are on the c-one
1. anybody has it and have pictures? confused.gif
2. does it fit the coupe? I have a 99 convertible. confused.gif
3. does the c-one rear lip fits the coupe? confused.gif
4. I have a 99 with factory fog ligths, do I have to replace the fog ligths? confused.gif
5. when replacing the bumper, do I keep or take out the reinforcement ? confused.gif

thanks biggrin.gif

1) There's a couple people here with the C-one kit. I know somebody that lives in Cali that has it, but i forgot his member name.
2) The front bumper should fit the convertible.
3) The rear lip will NOT fit unless you do some modification.
4) I think you do have to replace the fog lights...ask some of the people with the Invader kit and see which fog lights they got.
5) I think you do have to either modify the front support or take it off. Both are illegal.

Nope. It should line up just fine with your stock hood.

assuming the c-one style comes with the z-glide style rear lip here is how it would look

basically the sides need to be cut and some fiberglass has to be added to that area. the coupe/convertible rear is longer than the hatchback.

I have been wondering about the fog lights question myself. The people on here seem to just go without after putting the c-one bumper on. There has to be a way to make them work...

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

Guys I really appreciate the information you guys are providing me. I am still undecided on which way I want to go with the body kit frown.gif . I do know however that I do not want to loose the factory fog lights redface.gif .
I saw the 404A front lip and with that I dont have to replace them but I still dont know if I want to use that front lip.

thanks for the info ! I will keep on searching...

I think that I am going to settle with the Z-glide all around... I dont feel like removing reinforcements, removing the factory fog ligths just for looks... safety comes first for me... now that I know what I want is a matter find out some prices.. that GT-4 front bumper and hood combo looks interesting...
