I support getting rid of the off-topic section also. I used to like it a lot, but things are getting ridiculous.

im not sure the way the site is setup we are capable of banning people from certain forums... atleast in a way that wouldnt take coomer hours of work. thats a creative idea itchy, thanks for the input.

personally i think OT has some great topics right now, its not usual, but right now im real happy with some of the discussions going on, its alot better than it has been in previous weeks

Off-Topic is quite the headache for us though, especially recently. And when it was introduced, we agreed that if it got out of hand we'd remove it. But I doubt we'll remove it...we'll probably just crack down on people more and start banning whoever is continually causing trouble.

the point is though andason, that if OT was removed, the other forums would stay the same, and the useless babble would have to be taken to another site, or confined soley to the chat rooms... the reason we dont want to remove it, even though it is such a headache, is because as you and others have pointed out, its a big part of keeping a close community feel, even when there arent as many people who are able to hang out locally.

i see it as an All-Show/All-Go arguement, but the show part can go many dif ways...dubs or tuner wheels..
where as all-go...psh, turbo, NA...it's all the same, just the ppl sometimes know less about the oposite(still love its speed)...

I dont understand why people are getting all huffed up about, this OT section is the most mildest I've ever seen. Theres no cursing, theres not much personal attacking that you see on other sites, theres no porn, I mean the most risque picture is of Mercedes in front of the supra, and she's fully clothed. People argue, so what its natural, its the only way people learn and interact, arguing isnt a bad thing and it isnt a big deal at all. The site is getting bigger, which means theres more ideas & beliefs floating around.

The tone has been created already for the website, that you should keep it clean, within tasteful boundaries. That has been done, and the mods are here to keep it that way. This is a "family-oriented site" however the range of ages is 15-30. I think thats the demographic the site should cater to.

OT is an opportunity to get to know the members better, see what they think, why they think it, what they like to do outside of going to this site. THAT is why this site will remain clean, because its not a bunch of strangers really. Its the most close-knit forum around because its small and because we have a clean OT section.

And thats all I got to say about that.
