my cv boots are blown and making some irratating clunking noise...i heard there are performance cv boots...or not just the boots but the whole axle itself...i've replaced the whole axle(shaft...whatever u wanna call it), on the driver side...is there a big difference between stock and performance? anyone here have any installed on their's?

the only reason you would need performance cv axles is if you were making like 225+ hp. the 7a stock axles can't take more than that, but for anything less than that the stockers will work fine.

i figured performance axles would last longer on my car since mines a daily driver...and i kinda drive aggressively sometimes...but my friend got performance on his integ and he said he noticed it handled a lil better...more stabil somehow...

A lot of performance parts don't last as long as standard parts.
Oh and performance cv boots was just a hilarious sounding topic. Thank you. -------------------- ![]() |
