i am looking to but a 95 celica GT 2.2 liter in to my 95 celica ST 1.8 litter, any ideas or write ups u no abnout for the swap?? thanks

well to tell u the truth no body does the 7afe to 5sfe swap because the difficulty of the swap would be the same as swapping in a 3sgte.

your options are 7afte, 4age 20v, 4agze, 3sge, or 3sgte. type those into the search and you should get some answers smile.gif

Well... the mechanical parts are the same... the 5SFE wiring is plug and play if you get a 6th gen harness... ;]

Are you saying it's the same ECU?

If those were the same... there would be no reason to change any wires... but they're not. The ECU goes with the wiring.

Oh,you made it sound interchangeable like the wiring affected the ECU..I was like..wtf? ehe
