It has everything to do with temperature Kwanaza... the only reason NO2 is used is because of its extremely cold temperatures... a warm bottle is more efficient because the compressed NO2 moves more freely through the lines at a warm temp... when it hits the nozzles it instantly turns cold. You said nitrous is more efficient than oxygen in making power... when all nitrous is, is really cold oxygen and a little bit of nitrogen (which is also highly flamable [the second power adder of NO2]) COLD is the only thing that matter with nitrous.

Something like that... =]

Ok, I might be wrong about the psi thing; but when the No2 hits the intake it becomes HOT; thats why the nitrogen and the oxygen seperate; it's not physically possible for the No2 to suddenly lose energy to become cooler- and if it did it wouldn't seperate and it would be useless to the engine

Wrong again!

When N2O is sprayed into the intake the intake charge IS cooled. The N20 is compressed which is why it comes out cold. When combustion occurs is when the N2 molecules seperates from the O molecules. It take approx 570 degrees farenheight to get them to seperate. Chances are your intake is not that hot which is why they dont seperate until combustion.

Propane injection does for diesels what N20 does for gasoline engines.

I personally have not seen many gasoline setups with propane but I havent felt the need to look for them.
