I know you all want your kits, I'm impatiently waiting too, but given the time of the year, delays should be expected. I work at a post office and I know we have been getting swamped with packages. I'm sure it's the same with UPS, or however it's being sent. These people should know not to make us wait though. . lol smile.gif

Ok, I live in the same county. If they mailed it last monday, it should have gotten to my door in 3 days maximum. I can understand, yea there might be delays, but more than a week?? Kinda rediculous don't u think??

Hey all,
I'm incredibly sorry for the delay. I'm very upset because this is a reflection on how I conduct business. I assure everyone though that this is not my doing and I've done nothing but try to speed up the process. I kind of got flustered with Neverstops post because he's right. They should have been in everyone's hands already. So I called a different salesman (not mine) and asked for the number to speak with the owner, Mike. After talking with him he said that the company that manufactures the kits is in Asia. After looking at the invoice for my order, he said there was a miscommunication between them and the company that makes them because they don't speak English. All in all, that’s fine and dandy, but I'm still mad. The salesman I've dealt with is younger and in college. Of course, with mid-terms he lacked with his abilities to monitor the progress of this transaction. To me, I don’t give a damn. This should have been fixed a long time ago. I told them that I wanted these kits to everyone at NO later than the 15th, sooner if possible. After talking with Mike, Extremedoors.com will have the kits on Friday or Monday depending on shipping around a holiday. He told me he will ship it to you all the same day it arrives. I asked for him to get me a tracking number for the batch from Asia. He told me he was sorry, but I also told him I'm dealing with 7000 dollars of other peoples money and they don’t want to wait any longer. If anyone would like copies of the emails that we've sent back and forth, I'm more than willing. I paid the deposit of 500 dollars so they would make the kits on November 18th. I paid the rest of the bill on December 4th when I thought they were done. I was told then, they'd be in your hands within a week from that date. You can see this from my excitement in the previous posts. Again guys, I’m deeply sorry and if I can speed this up any faster I will.

Sorry,
-Ti

Tell them we demand at least a 10-15% discount for the delay. I am sure they will be o.k. with it as i think they are making a lot of money on us. heck, they are selling them retail for $100 more than we paid for. being an accountant for many years now, you can be sure it is not costing them more than $300-400 maximum.

we could always threaten them with cancelled order and our money back for the delay.

Heh guys, I wish I could ask for a discount - and in all manner, they should give us one. Here is the latest as of this morning.

Ok, so from what I understand they will ship out from Asia to you tomorrow.  You should receive them monday or tuesday depending on UPS.  You will ship them out by the next day and my customers should receive them in December or shortly after if they live further away.  They only reason Im confirming this is because of the delays.  My customers are upset with me because of a early date promise.  So before I state any date, I just want to make sure that this is correct.

-Morgan

I pinned them to a wall with this email. If they mess up, I will retract payment or best get a discount. I did this so you all can see and so they cant say I misunderstood. So, looks good, you should get them starting next week.

lol, im just messin'. i just wanted to have this on as a christmas present for myself. i really don't care if it takes another 3 weeks now, since the "deadline" wasn't met. it makes the company look bad, not you. they appear to be very unprofessional. and the fact that they bring up their personal life, (school, parents, wife, etc.) is absolutely NO excuse for delays. If that is the case, then they are in no position to conduct professional business in the first place. the world does not revolve around them, rather it revolves around the business which is being conducted. If this is how reliable they are to all their clients, i wouldn't do business with them ever again.

last week and this week were the ideal weeks for me to put this on my car, since it is between semesters and i dont have to worry about school. next week ill be working 70 hours, then back to school jan 3, with the normal 60 hour work week. they need to realize that their extended due date messes up other peoples schedules too. granted, certain unexpected delays should be considered, but no more than a full business week. time is money.....

I stick to my prevous point. We should demand a 10-20% discount or threaten them with cancellation of orders. Its so funny that i ordered them from Cyprus, paid from NY, produced in Asia, Sent to the states, then sent to Ny and then be sent to me in Cyprus. BTW if i knew they would be produced in Asia, i would probably find a way to order them directly. Hell, the cost of shipping is probably more than the cost of production, as they will go around the world at least one time.

I am just worried that if we get these kits and something is wrong, are we going to have to send them back to asia, and wait another 2 months?
Just curious?
Thanks

I'd physically grab the guy around the neck through the phone if something is wrong. So dont worry, sit back, and enjoy. If theres any more delays with there company, I might to to prison for murder. smile.gif

When this kit is installed, is it still possible to open youre door on a normal way? or does it always have to flip open towards above? i case of small parking places smile.gif

theres a guy that lives by me that has them. he got the kit for 1200$

they look great, parking in tight spaces is good to. theres only like a 3 inch difference int he way the door pops out before it goes up...

no problems.
