Ti,

please give me the total with shipping (usps by air) to Quebec, Canada G3M 2W9

Thanks

Claude

Claude,
I'm in wisconsin, so i'm not too far away. Just tack on an extra 25 bucks and it should be ok. Total is 850 + 25 shipping = 875 to Canada. That is via Air Express and should be delivery in 4-10 days.

Silvercell,
Standard degree should be around 65* degrees. According to Extreme Doors, this degree is ok for most, however a 100* degree conversion is available and priced in my first post. I will ship the standard kit unless you state that you want the coversion.

I just checked the package - the kit weighes 32lbs. So keep that in mind.

-Ti

I notice in the FAQ on extremedoors.com it says "Shipping is free within the United States and Canada". Are the products being shipped straight from them or to you first?

i noticed they are in los angeles. will they knock off anything if i come pick it up?

Unfortunately not as they ship to me in bulk. I wish that were the case though.

Yes, they ship to me, and I must reship. You get free shipping from them if you order from them, but then again.... your also paying 1400 for the kit.

To the person that already has installed this kit (blue celi with invader kit) or to neone else that has already asked this question...

How easy do the doors lift up? Like is it a jerky motion or is it nice and smooth?? also how much pressure is needs to be applied before the shock takes over?

and do you have to push the door out and then up or just open it and it goes from there?

same ?'s with closing it also

Thanks
NEVER

from my experience with vert. door kits is:

you can get in and out of the car without pushing the door up, there is enough room for the door to swing out for you to get in.

once it swings out, approx. 1 1/2 feet you have the option of pushing the door up.

think of the door going up as the same motion as our hatch lids.

turbo,

im not too sure if the pics of the celica with the kit installed are bad or is it the kit?

a couple of my teammates have lambo doors and i noticed something different, the doors on the celica just go straight up.

all of the other kits i saw go up and out in an angle, like you see here

verticaldoors.com

it will be great for the kit to go up and out since it will make getting in and out of the car much easier.

thanks

Hey all, to answer a couple questions:

I door opens like normal til about 1 1/2 like said above, then if you lift, it'll raise much like the hatch on the Celica. It should come back down with the same force. It should be smooth, but with the ability to stop it where you want, the the hatch.

The door will be more 'straight up' than most kits and decah because of the no-frame design of the door. It really doesn't need to get out. But if you look at the kit on the first page of this post, his car has them tilting out just a little. That should be how the kit is. Granted i wish he took a direct side shot of his car to show, but I cant ask for too much.

The doors are very easy to lift up. When you first put them on the shocks are not broken in so they want to pop up right away. They start to break in after a couple of days. It is a very smooth motion, and not very much pressure needs to be applied. You have to push the door open to clear the interior panel then they go straight up. When closing you have to pull down kindof hard till it reaches the bottom then close it like a normal door. I say get them you get so many head turns it is just unbelievable. Shot from the side
