Sadness. It's about 55 degrees outside - two hours ago I went to go watch a movie with some friends. The first time I started the car, it died almost instantly. Tried it again, with the same results. I could keep it going with some gas, but as soon as I let off, it would die. I idled it myself for a couple minutes, after which the car acted fine.
Sounds like I'm having the same type of problems as these guys - cold start switch? vaccum leak? http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=10034 http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=11899 Engine isn't too old - 70k, and up until now has been running great. What's a cold start switch? And.. vaccum leak means a line has a hole in it? Why would that fix itself after the engine warms up? |
